For Newcomers
Everyone is invited to join us at Christ’s Church — all you need to do is step through the door (or click on the link). You will be warmly welcomed regardless of where (or whether) you’ve gone to church in the past. We are here to nourish and strengthen those familiar with our traditions, and to offer genuine hospitality and sanctuary to those who are not. Here are a few common questions:
Can I learn more by talking to someone?
Yes, we would love to speak with you. Give us a call at 914-967-1749 or email parishoffice@ccrye.org, and someone from the clergy or staff will reach out to you.
Can I learn about the rector?
Absolutely! Check out our Who We Are page.
What are your COVID safety measures?
Please visit our information page for COVID precautionary measures.
Is there childcare?
Yes! Our Sunday School programs start at Pre-K. For kids 3 and younger, the nursery (on the lower level of the Education wing) is available during the 10am service during the program year and at the 9am service in the summer. In accordance with Safe Church practices, our dedicated nursery staff has been thoroughly vetted through an extensive background check. The nursery is staffed every Sunday during the program year from 9:45 until all children have been picked up by their parents. We also welcome children in all of our worship services.
What should I wear?
Christ’s Church does not have a formal dress code by any means, and honestly it’s a pretty broad spectrum. Some are in dresses and jacket-and-tie, and others in casual pants and a fleece. Fluffy unicorn sweaters are not unheard of, and you might be surprised by the age of the wearer!
Is there parking?
Yes, if you are attending an in-person service or event, we have a parking lot just off the traffic circle. On Sundays you can also park along Milton Rd. and Rectory St.
