Blessing of the Animals, Wednesday, October 4, 2017
We had our usual Blessing of the Animals in the columbarium, with dogs, cats, guinea pigs, tortoises, & a leopard gecko, and then we offered "drive by" blessings in the parking lot for any animals that didn't get on well in a group setting or for any other reason would be happier staying in their owners cars.
Hymnathon, Saturday, September 30, 2017
The choir held their first ever Hymnathon and bake sale to raise funds for their trip to the UK in 2018. They sang the first verses of every one of the 720 hymns in the hymnal at a breakneck pace, completing it in 8 hours, and then sang 6 hymns in full and added a few that are not in the hymnal for good measure!

The skies may have been a little grey but the mood was sunny as we kicked off the fall season with the opening of Sunday School, Backpack Blessing, the return of the Choir, and a wonderful picnic.

Episcopal Visitation, May 7, 2017
We were blessed to receive a visitation by The Rt. Rev. Andrew Dietsche, XVI Bishop of New York. He preached to both the children and the adults, Confirmed and Received 7 souls into our church and met with the church leadership.
Hats Off! Benefit, May 6, 2017
A good time was had by all at the Kentucky Derby themed Hats Off! Fundraiser for our many Outreach Programs. We raised lots of money and had a great time for some wonderful causes.

Services at 3, 6 & 11 pm, musical preludes, candles, carols, the creche, sermons, fellowship and more! We celebrated Christ's birth in the beautiful setting of our church and in our hearts.
And then we did it again on Christmas morning.

Our Altar Guild does it again and the church looks (and smells) absolutely beautiful; we are ready to welcome everyone to our Christmas services.

Another fabulous Children's Christmas Pageant where the children tell the Christmas story, followed by the fun and fellowship of a delicious potluck supper in the Parish Hall.

Church in the morning as usual, with choir, worship and pageant rehearsals; then the fun and fellowship of the Advent Dinner in the evening, with good food, great fellowship and merry singing.

Our annual celebration for St. Francis Day was almost all dogs this year, but many breeds were represented and were all very friendly. The one bunny who came was very calm and did not seem to feel threatened at all.

11 services from simple Eucharists to footwashing to children's homilies to the drama of The Great Vigil and Easter Day. The Altar Guild provided wonderful flowers, the Choir provided wonderful music, and our preachers provided wonderful, moving and thoughtful sermons. He is risen! Happy Easter!

It may have felt a little warm outside, but it was definitely Christmas in here! 4 wonderful services (3 on Christmas Eve and another on Christmas morning)- beautiful music, inspiring words, gorgeous decorations and lots of Christian fellowship as we celebrated the wonder of Christ's birth.
