By train (Metro-North), from Grand Central
On the New Haven Line, take a Stamford local train to Rye. Caution: Trains traveling all the way to New Haven are express trains that do not stop in Rye. You will need to take a local train to Stamford. For a link to the Metro North Schedule click here.
Once in Rye, exit the train; walk down the platform in the opposite direction of the train. Exit the platform and continue walking in the same direction, down a short road that leads to Purchase Street. Turn left and walk for a few blocks until the commercial district ends. You will see a Citibank in front of you at a fork in the road. Behind it, you will see the steeple of Christ's Church. Take the left fork (Milton Road) to enter Christ's Church through the parking lot entrance. The walk from the train should take about 7 - 10 minutes. Taxis are usually available at the station at the end of the platform.
